Everyone wants something different from their holiday, some don't want to move off their sun loungers other what to be up and at it. If you are in the up and at it category or just fancy a day being a little more active then we have put together a few ideas on what's on offer from Photography courses to paint balling!

A small sample of the many events planned for 2014 in and around Pickering. We have picked out the best locally and the bigger events further afield. North Yorkshire is still a very agricultural county and stages many local shows in the Summer. These shows give a real local flavour and can be a really good fun family day out.
