Christmas 2020

Another excellent New Year break. We stay with Eastgate Cottages every year and sometimes twice a year. Always of a very high standard, we have never been disappointed, only delighted. We treat this as our home in the country and wouldn’t go anywhere else. It doesn’t get any better, just book, you will love it.

We have just returned from a weeks stay in Maybeck cottage in Pickering, the cottage is lovely, everything you could wish for is provided.The cottage is very spacious and outside is a lovely seating area, private parking is a bonus as you are only a short walk from the centre of Pickering.There are plenty of places to eat and drink and you are a short walk from the Steam Railway.You are greeted on arrival and given all the information you need, everyone who works there are very kind and friendly we will be returning before long Thank you very much…

Perfect Cottage We come back to Eastgate Cottages again and again and they are the standard by which we judge over holiday cottages. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We have come here for nearly seven years and are already thinking about when we will be back!

Perfect. Pickering was chosen as an equidistant base for the coast, York and Harrogate and really could not have been better. Pickering is great with lots of amenities.  We stayed in the Farmhouse and everything was spot on. The place was clean and we had a bit of cake and cheese to welcome us. The place exudes quality from the kitchen utensils, fixtures and fittings through to the bedding and towels. The staff were great and the whole set up was just perfect. Thanks to all.

Perfect Place to Stay in Pickering Beautiful cottage with every possible amenity supplied. Comfortable lounge, modern kitchen, large comfortable bedrooms with plenty of space and modern superb en-suites. Very friendly, helpful staff nothing too much trouble and they go the extra mile.If every going to the same area of Yorkshire would definitely return and also recommend to others.
