Go Ape Dalby is an adventurer’s paradise. They’ve set the thrill factor to the max with a jaw-dropping Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure, plus Forest Segways. The Challenge course is a high one – you’ll find yourself 35 metres up in the air so bring your head for heights. Whether pushing yourself to the max or finding your young adventurer’s feet, Dalby delivers.

What Our Guests Say

Relaxing September Break We were in the Readman cottage. We received a warm welcome and the welcome pack of cheese and cake was delicious. The facilities were excellent and the location was ideal for walking and visiting places of interest. The steam railway is on the doorstep and the bird of prey centre in Helmsley well worth a visit. Helen and John were very helpful in recommending places to visit and where to have my car checked which had developed a problem.

Another excellent New Year break. We stay with Eastgate Cottages every year and sometimes twice a year. Always of a very high standard, we have never been disappointed, only delighted. We treat this as our home in the country and wouldn’t go anywhere else. It doesn’t get any better, just book, you will love it.

What Our Guests Say

“The cottage was of such a high standard real home from home feel. The cleanliness was spot on. We have visited Eastgate cottages for 16 yrs now and very often see the same people returning. Over that time we have stayed in most of the cottages at Eastgate and never had any cause to complain about anything.”

What Our Guests Say

Perfect. Pickering was chosen as an equidistant base for the coast, York and Harrogate and really could not have been better. Pickering is great with lots of amenities.  We stayed in the Farmhouse and everything was spot on. The place was clean and we had a bit of cake and cheese to welcome us. The place exudes quality from the kitchen utensils, fixtures and fittings through to the bedding and towels. The staff were great and the whole set up was just perfect. Thanks to all.
